Profile

Dr. Kayan brings a specific artistry and skill to cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. Having trained at renowned institutions including Stanford University and Washington University in St. Louis, she developed extensive experience in advanced surgical and microsurgical techniques.

 

After moving to Minnesota in 2012, she established Kayan Plastic Surgery where she focuses on a variety of cosmetic surgery procedures. She has a particular interest in mommy makeovers, tummy tucks and cosmetic breast surgery, but also enjoys performing non-surgical procedures such as Botox® and fillers.

Dr. Kayan has a lifelong interest in volunteering and has provided surgical care to patients in underserved areas in the Amazon jungle region of Ecuador in a mobile surgery unit.

 

Outside of work, Dr. Kayan enjoys cooking, hiking and collecting rocks, and is an avid car enthusiast who loves watching Formula 1 racing with her husband and 3 kids.

Dr. Kayan is the best of the best! I had my procedure done two weeks ago and it couldn’t be a smoother recovery with no pain medication! I had super bad anxiety going into surgery and under general anesthesia and Dr Kayan really helped calm me down. Seriously was nothing to worry about. I had met with a few other surgeons before I met with Dr Kayan, and I immediately knew she was the one. Down to earth, and super nice being able to text her directly with any questions. Don’t hesitate to use her, you will be very happy with the results!

Dr. Kayan is wonderful, I was very nervous when I came for my consultation, but I had no concerns after talking with you , I felt very much at ease. Surgery went well and I had very little discomfort. I love the results and only regret not having it done sooner. Dr. Kayan did an absolutely fabulous job on my tummy tuck! The results are perfect, and I couldn’t be happier. She was so helpful and patient, taking the time to answer all my questions and ease any concerns I had. Her attention to detail and care made the entire process smooth and comfortable. Dr. Kayan provided excellent care throughout with my mommy makeover. She genuinely takes time to answer any questions you have throughout the process and provides her personal cell phone number for any follow-up questions after surgery. I really appreciated her responsiveness. She also gives clear and detailed post-op instructions. Her entire staff in the office and anesthesia partners for surgery were wonderful! Beyond her excellent bedside manner, she delivers terrific surgical results. I am so pleased with my belly button/tummy tuck scar and healing. I would highly recommend her as your surgeon without hesitation!
