Heidi WilliamsDr

Dr. Heidi Williams is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon. She specializes in breast surgery, aesthetic surgery of the face and body, and skin and burn care/reconstruction. Dr. Williams is boarded by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and is a member of the Charleston County Medical Society (CCMS), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the Medical Society of South Carolina (MSSC).

​Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Dr. Williams graduated from Dartmouth College in 1991 and attended medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine. During that time, she became interested in surgery, in particular, plastic surgery. She returned to Philadelphia for her General Surgery Residency at the Graduate Hospital in affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania.

From there, she went to New York, where she completed a Burn and Reconstructive Fellowship at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College. Following this fellowship, she entered a Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Camden, New Jersey.

​Dr. Williams moved to Charleston in August 2002, after completing her plastic surgery residency. She has been in private practice since that time.  In 2009, Dr. Williams founded the Mount Pleasant Medispa, to work alongside her existing practice to provide the latest advances in skin care therapies, while continuing to offer the highest level of surgical care.  

Dr. Williams and her excellent team of trained registered nurses and aestheticians are committed to providing the highest quality of care while maintaining the personal attention, friendliness, and professionalism that have come to define them.
