He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, as well as a member of the American Society of Plastics Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
Dr. Denney graduated from the University of Georgia, Summa Cum Laude with Honors. He then matriculated to the University of Alabama at Birmingham for medical school.
