Dr. Bueno is a board-certified, fellowship-trained facial surgeon and holds exceptional qualifications and surgical expertise in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face. He earned his MD from UT Southwestern and DDS from Columbia University, where he received the highest grade in their head & neck anatomy cadaver course. This led to Dr. Bueno being chosen for the unique opportunity to be a facial plastic surgery research fellow at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he was exposed to rhinoplasties and facelifts, and he fell in love.

Dr. Bueno completed a rigorous, six-year surgical residency at the prestigious Parkland Memorial Hospital and its associated hospitals, where he worked under several national leaders. There, he gained expertise in functional and aesthetic reconstruction of the face through the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, further developing his interest in facial aesthetic surgery along the way.

Upon completing his residency, Dr. Bueno matched into a highly competitive cosmetic surgery fellowship program accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. As a fellow, he worked under the expert guidance of surgeons in facial plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery. During this fellowship year, he acquired tremendous experience with rhinoplasties, blepharoplasties, brow lifts, extended deep plane face and neck lifts, and facial volume augmentation procedures. While there, he quickly gained the respect of the senior surgeons, earning a reputation for his surgical skill and kind demeanor with patients, and was subsequently asked to join the practice. Combining his training in maxillofacial and aesthetic surgery, Dr. Bueno appreciates the broad scope of facial surgery– both cosmetic and reconstructive.

Dr. Bueno is also a published author with several articles on facelifts, rhinoplasty, and blepharoplasty and has presented on these topics at multiple national meetings.

He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and kids in the Nashville area, playing golf, guitar, and the city’s great live music. He feels fortunate to live in such a beautiful area and privileged to be part of a practice with such a long and respected reputation.
