Finally getting around to writing a review as I am almost 2 months post-op. The staff at BRC NYC was incredible from start to finish. I must take this opportunity to shout out my patient coordinator, Jae. She was so incredible and communicative. She assisted in sending my insurance everything they needed. After my primary insurance denied my claim, she worked diligently on sending documents to my secondary insurance and it was approved! I hardly did any legwork with the insurance process and I'm so grateful they took care of that for me. My surgeon was Dr. Elizabeth Kiwanuka. She told me everything I could expect for surgery during our consultation. We discussed what size I was looking to be and what my concerns were. After my surgery, the medical team at BRC NYC checked in on me and were readily available to answer any questions regarding wound healing, pain management, and eventually scar care. I cannot thank BRC enough. I've wanted a breast reduction for 10 years and the only thing I regret is not getting this done sooner. I also deeply appreciate my surgeon maintaining the natural anatomy of my breasts -- they naturally are wider-set and I was pleased that they still looked like my breasts but smaller and perkier. My surgery was 2 months ago and I still well up with tears of joy when I think about how happy I am with my results. It feels like these were the breasts I was supposed to have my whole life. I am forever grateful to Dr. Kiwanuka and her medical team at Breast Reduction Center of NYC. I would recommend them time and time again!

I had a consultation at the Breast Surgery Group in New York City, and Dr. Krishna Vyas was incredible. He took the time to explain everything about the procedure and conducted a thorough examination. He answered all of my questions and was reassuring, professional, and even funny. I felt a bit anxious before meeting with Dr. Vyas, but after our conversation, all my anxiety disappeared. He made me feel calm and relaxed. I am happy to have chosen him for my surgical procedure.

My experience was fantastic! Every member of staff was attentive, kind, and encouraging. Everything from finances to post-op care was explained to me step by step. Dr. Blechman and his team did great work on surgery day and I'm over the moon with my results. Megan and Jonas checked in with me regularly after surgery! I highly recommend this practice.

This was an amazing experience, from beginning to end. Im 17 and was heavy breasted x 10. I chose Dr. Blechman and consulted with him. The surgery was scheduled quickly. Dr. Blackman was kind professional and attentive to my needs. He was always pleasant. His staff is top - grade they were so kind, efficient and professional i felt like they were angels sent specifically to care for me. I couldn't of had a better experience from anyone/any other office anywhere. I highly recommend this office and have since shared this info with another 1 of my friends. fyi my surgery was a success and has boosted my confidence and comfortability with my body forever. It’s been 8 weeks since my life has changed thanks to Dr. K, Jonas, and the entire care team at the BRC. I had my surgery on 12/12, with my initial consultation on 9/4. The entire process was so smooth, so easy, and all of the providers were super thorough to ensure that this was the right thing to do with the cancer gene I have. I had multiple pre-op appointments to ensure that everything was going smoothly, and they gave me a checklist for the week before. The night before I was so giddy I could barely sleep. I came in to the surgery center, met my amazing pre-op nurses, got marked up, and before I knew it the anesthesiologist was telling me this is going to feel like you had a margarita. Just a blink later I woke up (shoutout to the best PACU nurse ever Adiel) and I cried tears of joy. It took me just two weeks to feel perfectly normal again. I was sleeping on my side after day 6. I was moving and doing gentle yoga after the first week. I went to the gym and did cardio week 2. I stopped taking any ibuprofen/tylenol after just 10 days. The procedure was covered by insurance and all I had to pay was the consult fee and my deductible. They did all of the brunt work for me; I just sat there and looked pretty. I have healed so fast thanks to the detailed instructions given by my care team that my scars are barely visible and it’s only been EIGHT weeks! I have zero pain, zero complications, full sensation and more importantly a quality of life that I didn’t have before. The BRC has changed my life. I keep crying tears of joy because I can finally wear cute clothes. I can wear a bikini. I can carry a backpack. I can do mountain climbers and pushups. I met with my genetic counselor and even they agreed this was one of the best things I could’ve done for my health, both mental and physical. If you’re thinking about it, this is your sign. Do it.
