Dr. Kevin Jovanovic, a board-certified surgeon in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is trained in the newest and most advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy surgical techniques. Laparoscopy has transformed gynecology, cutting recovery time and eliminating much of the pain associated with traditional gynecological surgery. As a testament to his expertise, Dr. Jovanovic received Yale University's Outstanding Laparoscopic Surgeon Award in 2004. In addition, he has been exceptionally trained in high-risk obstetrics, infertility, chronic pelvic pain, and urogynecology (treating incontinence). He was recently appointed as an Associate Professor of Obstetrics/Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Jovanovic’s interest in women’s health led to his completing the prestigious Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute fellowship in Beverly Hills, California with Dr. David Matlock. He has since founded the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of New York City. Vaginal rejuvenation is a rapidly growing field within gynecology. Women are seeking answers to help them restore or maintain good sexual function, and with today’s modern medical technology, Dr. Jovanovic provides answers and options in this specialization.

Dr. Jovanovic is not only specialized in obstetrics and gynecology -- he has received extensive post-graduate training in Cosmetic Surgery including Tumescent Liposuction, Botox/Filler, Laser Hair and Vein Removal, and Sclerotherapy. In 2006, he received the 2006 Top Plastic Surgeons Award in the field of cosmetic surgery.

He completed four years of training at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT, where he helped run the Yale University Women’s Center, which serves over 35,000 patients a year. He graduated with honors from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.
