Brown is a leading dermatologist with private practices in Manhattan and East Hampton. Dr. Brown is also an educator, currently training resident physicians as Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at New York University School of Medicine.

While pursuing his medical degree at NYU, Dr. Brown was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He subsequently completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Yale University and continued on to the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, where he excelled in both cosmetic procedures and skin cancer treatment, earning its Excellence in Skin Surgery award.

Today, Dr. Brown is one of the nation’s foremost experts in Mohs’ Micrographic Surgery, a precise technique for removing skin cancers while preserving the surrounding healthy tissues. Dr. Brown is a total pro. He cleaned out a basil cell carcinoma and now is finishing up a laser treatment to rid me of any scarring, and I keloid. It looks great! I highly recommend him. The office staff is great too.

As a Native New Yorker I have seen quite a few Dermatologists over the years. My search was over In 2006 when I started seeing Lance H. Brown. He is the most knowledgable and gifted Dermatologist I have ever seen. He has solved numerous skin issues over the years as well has done amazing cosmetic work on my wife. My wife feels more confident because she knows he is always willing and able to keep her skin beautiful and healthy. My favorite story was when I had an accident and tore the bridge of my nose open. We considered the ER but first I called his office. He insisted on rushing me in an not to let anyone else stitch me. He stayed and waited for me and stitched me up with surgical precision. It is now 4 years later and I can not see any trace of a slice across my nose.

I've been seen. Dr. Brown for several years now and can highly recommend this wonderful dermatologist. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. He always take his time and really listens. Staff is lovely and makes you feel comfortable. I've been so happy with the results which I why I continue to be a loyal patient of Dr. Brown.

Dr. Brown is an A+ dermatologist. He takes his time with his patients and makes sure they understand everything. My daughter had a skin condition, which he was able to treat right away. He and his staff were very kind and courteous. I highly recommended him!
