Norman J. Pastorek is one of the world's most experienced facial plastic surgeons and has practiced in NYC for more than 30 years; he has performed more than 7,000 rhinoplasties, 3,000 blepharoplasties, and 2,700 facelifts. Dr. Pastorek has been honored consistently throughout the years by The Best Doctors in America, Castle Connelly's Top Doctors, U.S. News and World Report's Top Doctors, and Town and Country Magazine's Best Doctors. He received the Patient's Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Award numerous times, the latter given to fewer than 3% of physicians in the nation and W Magazine voted Dr. Pastorek as one of the top five rhinoplasty surgeons in the world. Most recently, Dr. Pastorek was invited to present the Joseph Lecture at the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery in London and was presented with the Joseph Medal for Excellence in Teaching in Facial Plastic Surgery. In addition to being one of the top-ranking aesthetic facial plastic surgeons, Dr. Pastorek served the medical community as a highly respected medical educator, presenting Grand Rounds regularly at teaching hospitals in the New York area, giving lectures to residents at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, and presenting his work and demonstrating his surgical techniques around the world. He was the director of the Facial Plastic Fellowship training program of the New York University, School of Medicine. Dr. Pastorek is the editor of two textbooks on facial plastic surgery and the author of numerous book chapters and scientific papers.
