Dr. Guida is a remarkable Plastic Surgeon. When I first went to Dr. Guida I had already underwent a terrible revision rhinoplasty by another NYC Doctor who markets himself as “the Best”. He charged me a lot of money but way undelivered on results and disfigured me with unnecessary grafts that made my nose much larger and no longer in proportion with my face. After that happened to me, I consulted with my cousin, who is a Neurological Pediatrician at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York to find out where I could find a reputable Plastic Surgeon to help me. After 10-15 years of worsening sleep disruptions due to a severely deviated septum, and having done several consultations with other physicians over the past 2-3 years, I made the confident decision to finally choose Dr. Robert Guida to perform the repair. Because of past repairs involving a cleft lip and palate, I was anxious about the procedure. I was comforted to know that Dr. Guida has the experience and expertise, being double Board certified in ENT and Plastic Surgery. Although my priority was a functional repair, Dr. Guida also explained that improvements could be made to the tip of my nose by removing some of the scar tissue and replacing it with a little cartilage for support and proper air passage. I agreed and was glad that I did. Without a doubt, Dr. Guida delivered on my high expectations and I am very happy with the results. Three and a half months after surgery, I am pleased to post this review and share my experience and outcome. Not only am I sleeping more peacefully but I am genuinely satisfied with my appearance. My friends and family said he did such a good job and that the very subtle difference did not change the way I look. The post op recovery naturally was uncomfortable, as is expected, with the packing in place for a week, but the pain was minimal for only 1-2 days. Dr. G and his office staff prepared me beforehand of what to expect and checked on my well-being the following day. The procedure was performed smoothly at the ambulatory center on 64th Street and Second Ave, Manhattan.
