Dr. Churgin is a member of an elite group of Female Plastic Surgeons who are double Board-Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a Board Certified General Surgeon by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Churgin is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the New York State Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Churgin is formally fellowship-trained in Aesthetic Surgery and she is nationally recognized in the field of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Churgin is the Treasurer of the Young Physicians Sector of the Medical Society of the State of NY.

Dr. Churgin, outside of her surgical practice, enjoys a very active lifestyle including dancing, exercising several times a week, hiking, jogging in Central Park, and swimming. Her life’s ambition is to improve her patient’s figure, form, and function.

Dr. Churgin is a very caring and skilled doctor. She takes her time and does not rush you through the appointment. She is very thorough and answers all of your questions. Her staff is wonderful too. I highly recommend Dr. Churgin!

I found Dr. Churgin to be very direct and reassuring in her bedside manner. She always takes time to thoroughly discuss any questions and concerns. She does wonderful work and I would highly recommend her. Office staff in Babylon are friendly, knowledgeable and responsive.

I recently had a breast reduction surgery performed by Dr. Samara Churgin, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've been wanting a breast reduction for over 20 years and have met with numerous plastic surgeons—15 to be exact—but never felt entirely comfortable with any of them until I met Dr. Churgin. From our first consultation, Dr. Churgin made me feel at ease. She was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions, even those I didn't know I had. Her professionalism and compassion were evident, and she was always available to address any concerns, even when I didn't have an appointment. The surgery itself went smoothly, and the outcome exceeded my expectations. I love my new breasts—they look and feel fantastic. Dr. Churgin did a wonderful job, and her expertise and dedication to her patients truly shine through. I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Churgin for a breast reduction, and I cannot express enough how amazing my experience was. I was thinking about having Plastic Surgery for a while . I had the sleeve done few years ago. Lost over 100 pounds and had a lot of loose skin . I saw my regular Dr for check up . He highly recommended Dr Samara Churgin. I read her reviews.All excellent!!! Made an appointment with Dr Churgin. Loved her from the start . Dr Churgin and her Staff made this experience wonderful. Her Staff , especially Kathy and Frank went above and beyond. Kathy made this experience so less stressful. She got my insurance to approve this surgery. She was always keeping me updated what was going on with the insurance company. After surgery Frank called me every day to check on me . Any questions he was always there to help . Dr Churgin and her Staff were so wonderful. I highly recommend Dr Churgin for Plastic Surgery!!
