Dr. Volpe is a highly trained and skilled surgeon in cosmetic plastic surgery of the face and body, renowned for his artistry and exceptional results. A native of Massachusetts, he is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.). In addition to being Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Dr. Volpe is also a member of several local, national and international prestigious plastic surgery societies. He was elected president of the Massachusetts Society of Plastic Surgeons in 2010.

- He earned his medical degree at McGill University Faculty of Medicine. Seven intensive years after medical school were spent learning the art and science of surgery and plastic surgery in Massachusetts, earning board certification in both specialties. Further training in advanced plastic surgery was obtained in Paris, France and University of Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Volpe held faculty positions at both Tufts University and the University of Massachusetts. Dr Volpe is listed in The Guide to Top Surgeons of America. He has also been voted a Top Plastic Surgeon by Boston Magazine and Castle Connolly ten times.

May 3, 2024So pleased with the results of my Botox but even more appreciative of the patience, kindness and attentiveness of my injector Steph and the staff at Volpe Plastic Surgery. Going into my appointment I was extremely nervous to receive Botox for the first time. Steph listened to what I hoped for as a desired outcome, my expectations of a “natural”looking finish, and she gave honest feedback while thoroughly walking me through the process. I experienced no pain during the injections, Steph would check in with me after each injection to make sure I was comfortable and in the end, I left feeling well-informed and confident in what to expect in the weeks/months that followed. At my 2 week follow-up, I received a touch-up to my masseter and am loving my results almost a month later. Thank you Steph and the entire Volpe Plastic Surgery staff for making me feel at ease, I can’t wait to come back! I HIGHLY recommend Steph to anyone who is looking for an injector with a great eye for aesthetics and the ability to deliver the results you want.

Apr 24, 2024This was my first time ever getting surgery to my body.
I was highly recommended to Dr Volpe from a friend. I was very nervous the morning of surgery but as soon as I was taken in by the nurse and meeting the anesthesiologist i felt very comfortable and safe.
And i loved the music once in the surgery room.
It was great and made me feel happy.
I am 2 weeks out of surgery now. From the consultation to surgery day and now post op, everything went very smooth.
Dr Volpes bedside manner is impeccable along with his amazing staff.
He is a top notch surgeon and I would recommend him 10 times over.
I am very very happy with my results!!

Apr 14, 2024Dr. Volpe is the absolute best!! He performed my breast augmentation and the results are exceptional. He is so thorough and the recovery was a breeze. I was even asked what my favorite music is and they played it during the anesthesia process to make me comfortable. I really wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Jun 8, 2023I can’t say enough good things about Dr Volpe and his team. A couple of my friends got implants placed by him years ago and they looked fabulous so I decided to check it out. I got a breast lift and augmentation and I’m blown away by my results. After breastfeeding two kids, Dr. Volpe has restored so much of my confidence and his work is phenomenal! I’m about 4 months post op and healing beautifully…. He also always makes me feel comfortable and respected in what could really be (let’s face it) an awkward situation. I want to give a special shout-out to his assistant (I think she’s his assistant) Marcella who is super knowledgeable and provides top of the line Patient services. She is such a gem! Before my surgery she especially helped me feel prepared and comfortable with what I was getting myself into and addressed all my concerns honestly and respectfully. From the beginning and even now she promptly answers all my many questions. She’s super friendly and amazing at her job. I called a few surgeons before choosing this practice and Marcella’s knowledge and overall patient care was a huge part in my decision. So many of my friends want work done after seeing my beautiful results. 10/10 recommend Dr. Volpe
