Dr. Chatson graduated from Amherst College and the New York University School of Medicine before completing his general surgery training at the University of Connecticut's Hartford Hospital. From there, he went on to train in plastic surgery at Brown University's Rhode Island Hospital and Harvard University's Brigham and Women's Hospital. Following his extensive training in plastic surgery at these prestigious institutions, Dr. Chatson met the rigorous qualifications of the American Board of Plastic Surgery to become a board-certified plastic surgeon.
