Dr. Douglas L. Forman was elected to Phi Beta Kappa during his undergraduate studies, then he obtained his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Yale University, where he won numerous awards. His training culminated with a subspecialty fellowship in Breast and Aesthetic Surgery at Georgetown University.
Dr. Forman received his board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons. As a Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University and an Assistant Professor, Part-Time, in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University, he is directly involved with the training of tomorrow’s plastic surgeons.
Dr. Forman has a vibrant, state of the art practice that offers the full spectrum of aesthetic plastic surgery procedures for discerning women and men. Cosmetic breast surgery, body contouring, facial plastic surgery, mommy makeover and contour shaping following massive weight loss surgery are his specialties. The Plastic Surgery Institute of Washington provides a wide array of non-surgical modalities including skin care, laser treatments, skin tightening and fat removal procedures. Dr. Forman regularly lectures on new developments and procedures in plastic surgery. He has been the Medical Director for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas in the Washington, DC metropolitan area since 2006.
