Dr. Arbesfeld earned his medical degree from the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and completed his undergraduate education at Yeshiva University. His postgraduate training included: An internal medicine internship at Maimonides Medical Center in New York. A dermatology residency and fellowship at the Rutgers Universities Biomedical and Health Sciences, formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Dr. Arbesfeld is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has served as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology at UMDNJ and supervised the Mohs surgery section. He currently provides comprehensive general and cosmetic dermatology services to patients from the Nassau County, Suffolk County and New York City areas from his Wantagh office.

I was referred to Dr Arbesfeld almost 20 years ago ! Wonderful doctor and kind human being , if i could give him and the office 10 stars i would.

Want to doctor who has your well being at heart? Look elsewhere. Tried to get a refill for a cream that was prescribed when I had health insurance and doctor will not refill without another office visit (an office with limited days and hours). This is for an eczema cream. Sorry I do not have the insurance or funds to spare right now for a bs office visit. Didn't even offer a video consult or even a picture to confirm symptoms (same as my prior diagnosis). My well being is not important apparently. They were accommodating when I was insured now not so much.

Fantastic doctor all around. Dr Arbesfeld took the time to explain everything about my condition and all of my options and what they would do to help me. He made me feel comfortable and secure and never talked down to me. Would absolutely recommend.

I called his office this morning and what a friendly receptionist answered the phone I explained what I have been going through with my face and acne and I have been trying to get an appointment with a dermatologist and not one had any available appointments till the middle of June, and she said that she had an opening for me later today at 4:30 so I jumped on it ! Just met with Dr. Arbesfeld and I must say what a wonderful experience I had. He was a wonderful Doctor who listened to my problem i was having with my acne that I have been having trouble with for the past 8 months. He explained what it was and prescribed new medications for me! I think I finally found the best Dermatologist in all of Long Island! His staff is fantastic and friendly and knowledgeable too!
