She educated me on skin care practices as well as products and other services that would benefit me. I never felt pressured to buy any products or additional services. My result from my first IPL photofacial treatment by Skylar gave me results above and beyond what I expected from a non-invasive laser. Skylar's expertise, attention to detail, and skill with the laser gave me clearer skin and minimized the visibility of dark spots/ new freckles/ broken capillaries on my nose/neck/chest with just one treatment (though I recommend multiple treatments to take advantage of the results). While doing my research on skin lasers, I learned a patient can have very different results from the same laser--depending on the expertise of the person actually using the laser. The variability of results is due to the provider's training and ability to adjust the settings of the laser *during the treatment* relative to the concerns of the client. Deep knowledge for the depth/strength needed for specific concerns varies dramatically depending on the office and individual using the laser, rather than the laser itself. Skylar was able to adjust the settings during my (43F) treatment to reach the specific depth of my varying skin damage in order to bring the pigment to the surface. Her expertise allowed the skin damage to sluff off quickly--without any down time for me--for glowing skin at a family wedding just 10 days later. Additionally, Skylar has treated me multiple times for microneedling w/ exosomes while utilizing a strong numbing cream specific to their practice, making the treatment as comfortable as possible. Again, the expertise of a provider like Skylar for the depth in different areas of the face during microneedling significantly improved my results when compared to my difficult microneedling experiences elsewhere. I would also like to thank Justyna for my results from tox to both relieve the tension of my 11's and crow's feet--without freezing my entire face or making me look unnatural. Justyna's PA-C certification and medical experience allowed her to use less tox while still giving me my desired result. Other clinics have pushed twice as much tox into my face without giving me the natural result I received from Justyna. Both Skylar and Justyna's expertise have made me a loyal (and frequent) client of Modern Aesthetics. Thank you!
