I could write a novel of praise for Dr West and his practice! TLDR: couldn’t recommend more. Incredible results, incredibly collaborative and respectful bedside manner, super helpful and responsive support team. Why I chose him: I had been on the hunt for a very natural BA for years. I had a specific vision but wasn’t sure I’d ever find a surgeon to match my goal. I had met with a handful of surgeons who basically told me their specialty and told me to take it or leave it. Which is fine - they know best as the professionals - but I didn’t know if they heard my goals or concerns. I was referred to meet Dr West by a friend. During our first consultation he and his support staff spent 2 HOURS talking though every question, possible variable, and safety concern. I made a joke about his incredibly thorough, friendly, and professional approach to the tune of “I don’t need you to be so nice, I will never see you after this. I just need you to be good at your job.” He responded along the lines of “I treat all my clients like family.” Now that I’ve gone through the process, I see how wrong I was and how right he was: When you’re unconscious and under the knife you want to make sure your surgeon is looking out for you and knows exactly what you want. While assessing my proportions he also discovered a hernia (I had it for about 15 years and had seen every specialist at UCLA who told me i was imagining it). Not only did I feel relieved to finally be validated, but he offered to connect me with another local surgeon who could repair it at the same time as my BA. His office staff worked for months with me to help make this possible, and although I eventually decided to see another bariatric surgeon on the east coast, their care and time commitment to my overall health was beyond exceptional. Dr West and his team stayed incredibly responsive and available to me before and after surgery. Dr West gave me his personal cell and has encouraged me to reach out on weekends with any concern. They prepared me with every possibility post-op and how to respond, and I felt incredibly prepared and set up for success. The results? FANTASTIC. So beautiful and natural. I couldn’t be happier. I’m in shock every day with the mastery he achieved. He brought my incredibly specific vision to life and made sure to do it with the highest safety standards. Dr West is also a respectful gentleman and father of a young family. Despite the suggestive nature of a BA, he was insanely professional and made me feel so comfortable. The nurses even told me to keep my underwear on during surgery (although typically all surgeries request nothing under your hospital garb) and it was little details like this that made me feel so respected. My results are so perfect I can’t imagine seeing Dr West and his staff outside of post opp appts, so I’m sad to not get to keep working with them. I will recommended them to anyone who is considering surgery and I look forward to seeing them change others’ lives they way he did for me.

I couldn’t be more grateful that I found Dr. West when I did. After meeting with numerous plastic surgeons throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, I truly believed I had a severe case of capsular contracture. Every surgeon I saw offered a different approach, but all involved significant scarring and procedures I wasn’t comfortable with. When I met Dr. West, he was incredibly easy to talk to and presented a better solution—one that would avoid unnecessary scars while still achieving my goals. It turned out that I simply had a ruptured implant. He performed a revision, and the results were beyond anything I could have imagined. I’m so thankful I trusted my instincts and chose him. Not only was he the best choice for myself, but everyone on his staff was so supportive and caring the whole time.

Dr. Justin West and his wonderful team at Finesse Plastic Surgery are phenomenal! From my initial consult to post surgery results, everything was flawless. I know that I cannot fully express my gratitude towards Dr. West and his staff in one simple review but here it goes… I have wanted to explore getting some sort of help with a detached muscle from an emergency c-section with my 1st born 27 years ago. While I thought it was a pipe dream at the time, in a random conversation with my spouse and a friend. I realized that it was time to do something for me and at least look into it. After a few consultations in my hometown, a friend mentioned that they had breast augmentation with Dr. West and they suggested I go meet with him. I made an appointment and drove the 3 hours from my home to meet with him. I immediately felt at ease when he walked into the room and I knew that he was the one who could help me. After multiple talks of what I was hoping to achieve with my body, I scheduled a tummy tuck with muscle repair and a breast reduction and lift. The surgery was long and complex and Dr. West and his staff were there with me as I recovered. They called every day at the beginning and were always available to me. My recovery was very easy and my results are AMAZING!!! I have recommended Dr. West to multiple friends and I hope that after reading this, I know it’s long, that you will trust Dr. West and his staff and do something for YOU! You won’t regret it!
