Dr: Anup Patel successfully did a very complicated tendon extensor transfer on my left hand.At one point I though I've had lost two of my fingers. Thanks to him, I have regained a lot of my movements.

Dr. Anup Patel and his team performed upper and lower eyelid surgery to rejuvenate my eyes. Years of sitting in front of a computer screen rubbing my eyes to relieve the strain had caused the eyelids to sag, reducing my field of vision. The under-eye bags looked terrible. At 64, the stresses of life had caught up with me and I finally had to do something about it. I decided to make the hour and twenty-minute drive from Ocala to Orlando to see Dr. Patel. This is why. Dr. Patel, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who completed his MD/MBA degrees at Yale University, received his plastic surgery training at Yale followed by a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at NY University and Mount Sinai. Dr. Patel is the guy who Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon thanked on national TV for saving his finger when he almost lost it. Good stuff, but the clincher-Orlando Plastic Surgery affords an exceptional experience where you get TWO Board certified surgeons- one from plastic surgery, and one from ophthalmology. I received the finest, optimal care for my upper and lower eyelids and brow. Dr. Patel collaborates with Dr. Chirag J. Patel (not related)who is a Board-certified Ophthalmologist Specialist. With Dr. Patel’s brilliant surgical skills, an ophthalmologist who specializes in the anatomy around the eyes [functioning of the eye lids, fat pads around the eyes, as well as the numerous muscles around the eyes] and an anesthesiologist who is a liver transplant/cardiothoracic medical doctor, I was in great hands. My reattachment of the upper eye lid muscles was not initially part of the “my plan” but it is a testament to Dr. Patel’s devotion to his patient’s care and to the best possible outcome for them. He also included fillers around the lower part of my eyes to make me look more youthful. He contacted me after the surgery several times to ensure everything was ok. This personal touch was much appreciated and was another indication of how much he cares for his patients. Dr. Patel and his team made me feel like I was part of their family from the first phone call. Danielle is Dr. Patel’s surgical nurse. She is knowledgeable and funny. After my surgery another caring nurse, Shannon took excellent care to ensure all was well with me post op. Also, Dr. Patel has established “Cosmetic Saturday”. Many of his patients are high profile patients who cannot afford to take time off. Saturday offers a unique approach. One of the best things about the Cosmetic Saturdays is the privacy. I arrived early morning& was the only patient there. Talk about privacy and undivided attention! I cannot express how professional and genuinely caring Dr. Patel and his team are. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel and his team for their professionalism and the “care” they provided. Not only was it a privilege and honor to meet all of these caring people, but my wife says I look years younger. And you know, I feel younger. Just wish I had done this simple surgery years ago. Guess I was waiting for the impressive Patel Team.

I originally visited Dr. Patel for some trauma I received to my hand. (See original review below) His knowledge on all of the tiny little pieces of my hand and the medicine behind it blew me away. A real brainiac this one. But I suppose that's what you want out of someone that's going to take a scalpel to any part of your body. Since my hand surgery I've visited Dr. Patel again for Botox (Shhh! Don't tell anyone) and I'm planning to have a minimally invasive procedure done this year (a lady never shares). Review to be updated after my results; but if they're anything like my hand or the other before/after's I've seen, my husband is going to enjoy the new and improved. After injuring my hand cooking (let's just say it looked like my hand got in a fight with a meat slicer...and lost. Mandoline-1, Sarah-0) I quickly looked for the best specialist I could find to repair the damage. Did you see the bio on Dr Anup Patel? Yale med school? Looks like he got an MBA while he was there. Was that just for fun? He sits on all sorts of boards and committees. Anyone with that much schooling has to be good. Sure enough, he was. Within 24-hours of my injury, Dr Patel was able to do a consult and get me into the ER to clean out the wound and repair. Thank heavens I chose him. I ended up needing plastic surgery which he specialized in. He was thorough, very knowledgeable, and professional. A doc that got down to business right away. I'm thankful to Dr Patel for taking my case and for his kindness and attention with my follow up. Good luck finding a doc that's better.

I could not be happier with the level of service and professionalism I received from Dr. Patel and his team. I went in for a lipoma the size of a fist and Dr. Patel did a great job both during the operation and the follow up. I would highly recommend him. THANK YOU!

My three year old son had a terrible accident where he had a cut on his face. Dr. Patel took such great care of him. The face is such a delicate spot to repair and Dr. Patel took such care and precision. Months later and you can hardly tell there was a wound there. He really went the extra mile and came in early and answered all of my questions. He immediately put me at ease. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do such an important job as to stitch up my son's face. He really is amazing at what he does. If you have an area that you need perfection Dr. Patel will deliver. He is professional and exceeded all of my expectations. I can't thank you enough. We will be forever grateful.

Dr. Anup Patel Thank you so much for everything you did  to save my hand and to give me back my life. I feel that words cannot truly  express the gratitude that I have for you and for your staff. You have helped me so much and I appreciate everything that you did for me.   Who would think  that such a small incident could cause so much damage. When I hurt my hand I thought nothing of it until it got infected I went to doctors at the hospital and Urgent Care but it wasn't until I came to you that I felt that I was in the right hands.   Thank you for your skill as a doctor and for making a difference in this world. You were so kind to me and to my mom and I have such admiration for you sir.   You are a great instrument of God's work and I feel that a doctor is one of the greatest gifts. People don't often take this time to say thank you but I want you to know that you make such a difference in this world and helping people to recover and become healthy it's a blessing in itself. It was my honor  to know you and I hope that in the future we can stay in touch. I can tell that being a doctor was more than just a job to you, it is your true passion and love. Thank you so much for the kind and gentle person you are, for wearing that white coat and for caring so much about your patience.   I pray that you continue to receive the blessing of helping others and that you are blessed in your life beyond measure.   I hope that this note expresses the Gratitude and respect that I have for you. Thank you and all the staff members once again for everything.   Yours truly, Tony Smith
