Jennifer HuiDr

Dr. Jennifer Hui was born and raised in Orange County, California. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles for her undergraduate studies as a Regents Scholar. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma, Alpha Lambda Delta and Golden Key National Honor Societies. She then completed her medical education at the University of California, San Francisco, which is ranked in the top 5 medical schools nationally.

She stayed locally and completed her internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, widely regarded as one of the most competitive transitional internships in the country. She then had the privilege of completing both her Ophthalmology residency and Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery/Orbital Oncology fellowship at the world renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.

Bascom Palmer is consistently ranked the #1 eye hospital and residency training program in the country in U.S. News and World Report.

Dr. Hui is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute for 3 years as a member of the Oculoplastics department.

Membership is approved after completion of a rigorous fellowship as well as a thesis, written board examination and oral board examination. She has also been voted one of America’s Top Ophthalmologists from 2012-2017 as well as a Palm Springs Life Top Doctor since 2017.

She is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Loma Linda University Eye Institute. She enjoys teaching the residents and the complexity of challenging cases in an academic setting. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of California, Riverside.

In her spare time, she spends time with her husband and their two young sons. They are enjoying life in the Coachella Valley and look forward to many happy years here.
