EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATION

A Texas Tech Medical School graduate, Dr. Zakhireh completed his general surgery residency at UCLA Harbor. Upon finishing a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Utah, Dr. Zakhireh was invited to join the staff as a professor of plastic surgery. Although he enjoyed his time in Salt Lake City, a 2004 visit to the Coachella Valley drastically altered his plans.

“I absolutely fell in love with it here, and I moved six months later!” he enthuses. “The mountains and open spaces have an exotic, calming quality to them.”

In 2005, Dr. Zakhireh joined the team at Cosmetic Surgery Institute of Palm Desert. When Dr. Craig Ball retired in December 2007, Dr. Zakhireh took over the practice.
