Dr. Jill L. Hessler is many things. She is a double-board certified facial plastic surgeon. She is an award-winning teacher and trainer. She is an internationally recognized Beauty Expert and Top Doctor. She is a highly regarded presenter and leader in her field. She is a passionate researcher and progressive overseer. But most of all, she is a gifted medical professional who truly cares about her patients and takes great satisfaction in helping to achieve their desired goals.
Dr. Hessler’s experience includes being chosen as a faculty member at Washington University to specialize in facial plastic and cosmetic surgery. As a member of the faculty, she trained numerous surgeons, lecturing and demonstrating her meticulous technique and approach to cosmetic surgery procedures. She also organizes a course on rhinoplasty in which she and colleagues teach a group of national and international surgeons on the delicate rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty techniques.
Dr. Hessler has also been chosen as faculty for multiple other hands-on courses, training plastic surgeons procedures such as blepharoplasty, facelift, and neck lift. Continuing her involvement in teaching, Dr. Hessler holds an adjunct teaching appointment at Stanford University, lecturing and teaching resident doctors at Stanford plastic surgery techniques.
Not only is Dr. Hessler involved in plastic surgery education in the northern California Bay Area; she also serves on the national level with involvement in committees within the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
