Originally born in Lagos, Nigeria, Dr. Obi grew up South Carolina where he cultivated his love for medicine and plastic surgery. He graduated from Clemson University with the distinguished honor of Summa Cum Laude as well as in the top 10% of his medical school class. He completed a very rigorous and competitive integrated plastic surgery residency at UCSF, where he focused in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. To further serve his patients he sought out additional training where he completed the #1 Aesthetic fellowship in the United States working with the likes of Drs. Ashkan Ghavami, Jay Calvert, Ritu Chopra in Beverly Hills, CA and Drs. Justin Perez and Luis Macias in Los Angeles, CA.

I had my mommy makeover done with Dr. Obi, and I am beyond satisfied with his work! The entire experience has been amazing, and I'm honestly shocked at how painless it has been so far. I can't wait to see the final results as I heal. I highly recommend Dr. Obi!!! The entire staff at Athenix was very welcoming, friendly, and communication was outstanding—he took the time to address all my concerns, and even when I reached out, he personally called me, which I found incredibly professional. He explained the procedure thoroughly and made sure I felt safe and confident in his hands. If you're considering a mommy makeover or any procedure, Dr. OB is the one to trust! I am 3 months post op from having a abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). I had my surgery at Athenix in Pasadena. I waited 3 months to be sure I had the most accurate and honest review possible. My surgeon was Dr. Isak and I feel absolutely blessed to have had him as my surgeon. He did an absolutely amazing job, pure perfection!! I love love love my results!! My stomach is super flat and sculpted, my belly button looks so natural. You would never know it wasn't my natural belly button. He sewed my belly button from the inside so there is no scar around my belly button. It is hidden inside of the belly button. My scar on my stomach is even perfect. The way the incision was cut was even amazing. He doesn't cut straight across the lower abdomen like I've seen other tummy tucks.That's something i was considered about. It's like a bikini cut and just above the public area so when I wear a bikini or V shaped underwear you can't even see the scar at all. Dr. Isak is amazing he changed my life.

I highly recommend Dr. Perez at the Pasadena office! He was so patient, kind, generous with his time and knowledge, and did an incredible job on my procedure. I really enjoyed his post-operative care, as well as that of his nurses Ursula, Tami, and Samantha. Megan took care of all of my questions from the get-go, and was always available for check-ins, and incredibly helpful throughout the payment process. I'd recommend anyone curious about a procedure definitely take the time for a consultation with this office!

My experience with Athenix in Pasadena Ca. was amazing. Dr. Perez was so phenomenal. His bedside manner was fantastic. Dr.Perez made me feel so comfortable from beginning to end of my journey. I had a breast augmentation and liposuction. My first visit with him was a consultation, he answered all my questions and put my fears to rest. I am two months into my recovery and feel great. I am extremely pleased with my results. I truly recommend Dr.Perez to anyone who is looking to get their sexy back 🤗

The service at Athenix Pasadena is world class. The personnel is very professional and courteous. I had two procedures done last year, along with multiple followups. Melissa was my consultant and very pleasant to speak to. I felt very comfortable discussing private, awkward matters with her. Dr Azad was my doctor and he too was very pleasant. I liked the experience so much, I referred my sister who used their services as well. They're over an hour away from us, but good service is worth the drive.
