I am a patient and have been seen by both dermatologists at this practice and I know who and where they were trained (Mayo Clinic). Their time is a premium and often do not mix words when discussing diagnosis with a patient. Some patients can't handle the truth and hear what they want to hear. RE: SunnyJim68 If a patient has concerns it should be discussed prior to leaving vs. posting a passive aggressive response to a concern easily resolved at the local level. I am told that any lesion on the skin that is discolored can be a precursor to cancer. If anyone actually needs MOH's surgery you want the best surgeon in AZ, not necessarily the best bedside manner. Don't burn bridges because of a comment by an MA - I do not need to hide behind a "user id" and happy to ID myself. Alexander J. Warschaw Col, USAF, Ret

I have never been hung up on before by a professional staff. I was simply trying to get my records sent to my primary and referring physician. This should never happen in a professional environment. I never felt that I was treated with empathy or respect when I was there, either by the staff or the the physician

I can not praise the professionalism of this office high enough, Dr. Olmedo and Tayler gave me a very thorough exam and removed 3 suspects for biopsy. They explained each step as they did it and allayed any fears .

Do NOT come here!! We need to be able to give 0 stars!!!! 2.3 for a review score tells alot!!!!This was one of the worst experiences of my life!!!!! Dr. Barlow and his MA who has 7 months schooling know it all. I have had melanoma twice. I was told by his MA I had never had melanoma and she "doubted" I ever did. How 9 months of schooling becoming a MA she knows it all. Dr. Barlow is rude, doesn't listen, did not look at all my moles I had concerns with. My doctor who referred me to this ? hole had concerns about several moles I had. He said my scars were not concurrent with having melanoma. Never knew there was a "look" to scars to determine if I had skin cancer. They need to be shut down! Some one dies from cancer, I hope they come back to the reviews and sue this place. I went on to another dermatology doctor a real one, had moles removed and they came back as the beginning of melanoma. Save your life and do NOT come here!!!
