Dr. Putman has two academic appointments, serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, and Associate Clinical Professor and Instructor in Facial Plastic Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology, SIU Medical Center, in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Putman is an advocate for public health and safety, authoring numerous articles in respected journals on this important subject.
