When not in the medical practice, Dr. Bass loves to fly. An active pilot with over 1000 hours of flight time, he regularly flies to satellite offices in Flagstaff and Yuma on a monthly basis. This makes it convenient for residents outside of Phoenix to benefit from his professional skills.

Born and raised in Missouri, Dr Bass completed his undergraduate degree and his medical degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. After an additional five years of surgical training in Phoenix, he completed a two-year fellowship in Plastic surgery training at St. Louis University Medical Center.
In 1989, Dr Bass opened his private practice and is currently located at Tatum & Shea in Phoenix.
Dr Bass has been active in the Maricopa County Medical Society since 1989 and has served as president. He is affiliated with the Honor Healthcare System and provides services at multiple outpatient surgery centers in the Valley.
