Dr. Stokes was born and educated in California, graduating from UCLA Medical School, earning many awards and honors. He did a General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residency at UC Davis and has kept current on trends and techniques in the many aspects of aesthetic Surgery by attending conferences and extracurricular courses over the years. Dr. Stokes maintained a purely aesthetic private plastic surgery practice in Santa Barbara for 13 years before relocating to North Carolina where he currently practices in the Plastic Surgery Center at the Pinehurst Surgical Clinic.
Dr. Stokes has been married to his high school classmate and sweetheart since 1988. They live in Pinehurst, North Carolina with
their two sons.
