George Landis, MD achieved his medical degree at the University of Arizona. After completing his surgical residency and plastic surgery residency at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Landis remained there as full-time faculty member treating patients and teaching plastic surgery to medical students and surgery residents from 1994-2001. While at the University, Dr. Landis performed research evaluating breast implant quality. He specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, as well as facial plastic surgery.

In addition to the full-time clinical practice, Dr. Landis’ recent contributions to the field of plastic surgery include authoring a chapter on cleft lip surgery, teaching facial reconstruction at a nationwide conference of surgeons, and serving on committees of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He recently completed his two-year term as the President of the Minnesota Society of Plastic Surgeons. In 1999, Dr. Landis was awarded the Annual Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation Videotape award for an educational CD-ROM on breast reconstruction created for plastic surgeons, putting him at the forefront of this convenient technology.

Dr. Landis continues to offer patients the best in modern plastic surgery and aesthetic care, with the addition of laser technology for skin services. Since 2007, Dr. Landis has served as medical director of Consultative Skin Care, a medical spa offering leading edge skin rejuvenation.
