Board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Tom Gallaher, was born in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine in Memphis in 1990. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and his plastic surgery residency at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

In 1997, Dr. Gallaher served as the Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with North Texas Affiliated Medical Group in Fort Worth. Five years later, Dr. Gallaher returned to his home state, establishing his practice in Knoxville, TN. Since that time, Dr. Gallaher has dedicated his practice to reconstructive surgery of the breast as well as cosmetic surgery, including procedures of the face, breast, and body. Dr. Gallaher is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
