Profile

Dr. Rhett High joined Raleigh Plastic Surgery Center in 1996 and is actively engaged in the practice of plastic and reconstructive surgery. He was Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1999, and he was re-certified in 2009. Dr. High completed his undergraduate bachelor of science degree at Pennsylvania State University He then went on to attend medical school at Johns Hopkins University, his general surgery residency at the University of Florida and his plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr. High was also a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Surgery at the University of North Carolina. Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery: 1999 (Re-Certified 2018)

I was referred here by Family Dermatology to remove a legion on my forehead. Dr. Purzycki took his time and did very neat work with great results. Everyone in the office was easy to work with, communicated clearly, and were very professional. I'd recommend this practice to anyone looking for work done!

I was injected by nurse Jenn and I couldn’t be happier! She took her time and was so patient and explained everything thoroughly! This was my first time getting lip filler and it was a great first experience.

I recently had a breast reduction with Raleigh Plastic Surgery and had the pleasure of working with Veronica on getting my procedure covered through insurance. She was prompt and informative, she gave me clear instructions on what was needed and when the time came to submit to my insurance she did not delay. I would recommend Veronica and Raleigh Plastic Surgery to anyone seeking a reduction and looking to be covered by insurance. Wanted to update my review to add that Dr. Purzycki did an amazing job! He explained every detail and possibility of surgery - I was very comfortable working with him which made going into surgery a breeze. He does quality work and I am extremely satisfied with my results.

The Doctor did a great Job! The Staff however was horrible!!! pre surgical appointment were schedule very last minute with no post surgical appointment. After waiting for the office to contact us we contacted them after 10 days of waiting, to get a post surgical follow up with the surgeon, to have the sutures removed. The Receptionist was very unapologetic and made it seem as though we were at fault for not having an appointment. The first post surgical appointment offered was 2 weeks after the surgery. I would highly recommend the Doctor for his skills, but I would suggest getting staff who are nicer, and care about the patient population they supposedly are there to serve.

I would like to just say how great working with Veronica was. She helped me through the entire process of getting my breast reduction covered by my insurance. She was very informative and was always willing to help answer any questions I had through the process. She was always eager to help and was available whenever I needed to ask questions or has concerns. I am now approved and will be having my surgery soon.
