Profile

Prior to medical school, Dr. Lombardo had always been involved in music, theater and the arts. Her educational background began with a degree in Art from DePaul University in Chicago, IL followed by attending the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, IL. She continued her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago to obtain a minor in Chemistry to fulfill the requirements for attending medical school.

During clinical rotations in medical school, Dr. Lombardo discovered she had a unique opportunity to combine her new interest in medicine with her love for the arts. As a result, she chose to pursue a residency in General Surgery followed by a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery. The Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship training covered all areas including: facial surgery, body and breast surgery, post-bariatric (weight loss) surgery and non-surgical treatments.

Today Dr. Lombardo is a successful Board Certified General Surgeon. In addition, she is a highly regarded Cosmetic Surgeon specialist and a diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

She has been practicing medicine the Palm Springs area since 2008 but opened her own practice, Lombardo Cosmetic Surgery, in 2009. As of 2017, Dr. Lombardo has become President of the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery to further establish herself as an industry leader.

Dr. Lombardo Is not only the best doctor ive ever been too, but as well her vast knowledge of possibilities, Actually happened to me and using her technique of curing it worked immediately. I will never go to another doctor for the rest of my life Dr. Lombardo is the only place for anyone to go to and for anything you need done. She is a true artist. I'm very please with Dr. Lombardo, she's excellent in what she does to make people look fabulous , younger. She explained what would work for me. I don't look plastic. I look good . Her Staff they are wonderful too. I highly recommend Dr. Lombardo if your thinking of fillers she's great.

I was nervous about getting injections, but the team at Lombardo made me feel extremely comfortable and gave me sound advice. Two team members came in and talked to me, answered questions, and let me know they were there if I needed anything. Once the doctor came in with her assistant, it was a breeze. I had worried for nothing:no pain. I appreciate all the time that Dr. Lombardo and her team took to make sure I had a pleasant experience. Oh, the fillers look great, too!!

There are not enough superlatives to describe my experience with Dr. Lombardo and her team. The pre-op consultation felt like meeting with an artist. The operation day went smooth and I felt very well taken care of. The results were better than anything I could have hoped for. I did not need one pain pill post-op. The follow up appointments have been informative and all my questions were answered. I had no concerns but if I did, I feel like they would have been addressed immediately. They are also so friendly and warm and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a cosmetic procedure.
