Doctor Ko did a wonderful job correcting the ptosis (droopy eyelid) I'd had since childhood that was worsening with age. I visited the office twice before deciding to go ahead with the surgery, and the staff was very helpful with getting the necessary insurance pre-authorizations. This was my first ever surgery and Dr. Ko and the surgery center staff took great care of me. The doctor even called personally to follow up before a long weekend. Today I had my last follow up and I am delighted with the results. We're lucky to have Dr. Ko and his staff in Reno. Highly recommend!

A few years ago, I had eyelid surgery by Dr. Marcis Ko for a cancerous growth. Now that I’ve returned for a follow up, I remember how truly wonderful he and his staff are. He is so incredibly caring and competent. He answered all my questions with ease and it felt like talking to a trusted friend. I would highly recommend Dr. Ko as an eye surgeon!

Dr. Jackson biopsied a spot on my lower eyelid. It took over a week for the results to come back, and when they did, Dr. Jackson called me personally with the results. He answered all my many questions. Dr. Jackson coordinated with my dermatologist, who removed half my lower eyelid. The following day Dr. Jackson reconstructed a new eyelid. The day after the procedure, Dr. Jackson again called me personally to check my recovery. Beyond his obvious skill in his profession, his mannerisms and soft spoken personality are amazing. Every question I had was answered clearly. He was comfortable explaining details. I never felt rushed. My office visit was well over the standard 'get them in and out the door as fast as you can'' scenario I am accustomed with. Both follow-up phone calls were lengthy (because I asked so many questions.) I am very sorry and sad to learn that since the Covid-19, Dr. Jackson is no longer at Nevada Eye Plastic Surgery. This is a huge loss for the practice. I have every confidence that any practice where Dr. Jackson works will be grateful to have him. The patients will be even more so grateful to have him as a provider.
