Dr. Bruce Byrne is a board certified plastic surgeon practicing with Regional Plastic Surgery Center since 2000. Dr. Byrne has been chosen as one of the best plastic surgeons in Dallas eight times by D Magazine and eight consecutive years, 2013-2020, by readers of Lakeside Living Magazine. Dr. Byrne specializes in many plastic surgery procedures and has been recognized as an accomplished face lift, laser skin resurfacing, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, liposuction and rhinoplasty expert.

Born the second of three children in Houston, Texas, plastic surgeon Dr. Bruce Byrne moved to the Cleveland, Ohio, area when he was 16 years old. After graduating from Solon High School, Dr. Byrne obtained his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in pre-medicine and was a record-holding swimmer. Dr. Byrne earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University in 1993 and was invited to be a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical honor society reserved for the top 10 percent of the medical students. While attending Ohio State, Dr. Byrne received a prestigious research award.

In 1999, Dr. Byrne completed a six-year combined plastic surgery training residency with the University of Kentucky. The following year, he finished an additional fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Utah. Throughout his esteemed career, Dr. Byrne has published papers in national scientific journals and presented at national meetings. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, and has earned his Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. He has held many leadership positions of several area hospitals.

I really liked the Dr. He was very helpful in explaining how he was going to do the surgery. However when went back to find out about how much it was gonna cost me which would be $13,000 I found out that they will not file insurance because of it being on Medicare. I did get preapproval from my insurance company that they would pay for the surgery if they would use the correct code so we gave him the code that they needed to file but they told us they would still not file the insurance because they would not get paid because of being classified as cosmetic. My surgery is not cosmetic. It is a medically necessary preapproval everything was good until we reached back to the back to it, it all set up. They still refused to file the insurance for me. They cannot use the correct coding on the The forms that I need to have to be reimburse. Since I do not file, the paperwork they give me will say cosmetic even though it is medically necessity I don’t think it’s fair that I should have to come up with the $13,000 to pay for the surgery when the preapproval was pre-qualified for this procedure. I’m very disappointed in the fact that I may or may not be able to afford to get the procedure donebecause of the cost and not being able to get reimbursed for the money that I will have to spend out ahead of time

I feel so honored to have been Dr.Lemmon's patient. He has been voted for 16 consecutive years and I see why!! He saved my mental state and was able to reconstruct my body like no other. After having breast cancer, my thoughts completely took over my life. What would my kids do if I passed away?? What if I don't pass away and my body is completely changed? Will I have breasts?? Will it travel to other areas of my body? Will it come back?? All the thoughts were there. It was scary to say the least!! When my breast doctor and Dr Lemmon came together, they did everything possible to make sure the cancer was gone, and he gave me a whole NEW body!! I have never felt the confidence I have now and it is all because of him... and my weightloss doctor but that is another story! 😂❤️ Thank you to God first, Dr. Lemmon and all his staff!

Dr. Mehta and his staff were absolutely fabulous during my initial consultation. Dr. Mehta and his nurse put me at ease, everything was well communicated and a plan was made that best suited my needs/wants for plastic surgery. I know I'm in good hands when my surgery date comes around! Dr. Mehta was recommended to me by my primary care physician. I’ve been seeing Dr. Watumull for almost 6 years for all my Botox, filler, and youth preservation/enhancing needs and he and his staff are perfection. It’s important to talk about how staff and doc respond when things don’t go as planned. I had some of those over the years. I had an allergic reaction to the tetracaine in the topical anesthetic for my Botox/filler. They handled everything smoothly and took care of me. The staff here genuinely care, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr. W respects your wellbeing and wallet. He gives you the best options for your care and you feel like family. Dr. Watumull always takes the best care for his patients. I live in uptown and for the past 6 years I’ve happily driven to regional plastic surgery (18 miles) for their care to enhance my natural beauty instead of pump me with maximum product for high profit that I’ve experienced unfortunately in uptown.
