Prof. Patel's expertise is in the management of disorders involving eyelids, periorbital tissues, lacrimal system and facial bones including fractures and in all cosmetic procedures of the face. He has designed and refined several surgical procedures and instruments. His clinical research interests include thyroid disease, optic nerve disorders, orbital and eyelid tumors, blepharospasm, lacrimal surgery and facial cosmetic surgery.

Sep 27, 2019Dr. Patel was awesome! He removed a dermoid cyst from our one year old daughters eye. We were so nervous because she is so young but Dr. Patel quickly made us feel comfortable. He did an amazing job on the surgery and it is healing well. Definitely one of the kindest doctors we have ever met. Highly highly recommend!

After a consultation he was very clear about what to expect. He spend time with me explaining what had gone wrong with my previous surgery and how he could address my concerns..

Feb 15, 2019So thorough. Takes his time with you and covers everything. I have so much confidence in him. Such a gentleman. When you have to see a doctor, it would be natural to be nervous. But his calming effect took away my stress. I was on the verge of tears when I went to his office, but I left very relieved. Everyone in his office is very nice and helpful. A great overall experience. Cheryl was also so much help. Thank you Cheryl.
