Education and Training

Dr. McGill began her academic journey at The University of Texas at Austin before earning her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she also completed rigorous training in general surgery. She then pursued residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The University of Texas Health San Antonio, gaining comprehensive experience in the full breadth of plastic surgery. To further refine her expertise, Dr. McGill was selected for a highly sought-after fellowship in aesthetic plastic surgery, where she trained under a world-renowned surgeon whose groundbreaking contributions have advanced both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

Special Achievements

Dr. McGill has been recognized throughout her training for her academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to patient-centered care. During her general surgery residency at Texas Tech, she was twice honored with the Excellence in Interpersonal and Communication Skills Award, reflecting her ability to build strong, compassionate relationships with patients and colleagues. She was also named Role Model of the Year, a distinction that highlights her dedication to mentorship and teamwork. In addition, Dr. McGill received the Raleigh Ross Scholar Award from the Texas Surgical Society.
