Dr. Ruchi Bhandari is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to helping patients feel confident and radiant at every age. She earned both her MD and PhD in Neural and Behavioral Sciences through the prestigious physician-scientist program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she was awarded the William Montagna Award for Excellence in Dermatologic Research. She completed her dermatology residency at the University at Buffalo and the University of North Carolina.

Dr. Bhandari takes a whole-person approach to skin health. As a plant-based physician, she believes that nutrition and lifestyle are powerful tools for achieving healthy, vibrant skin. Her practice focuses on skin longevity — offering regenerative treatments such as PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor) therapy and biostimulatory injections like Sculptra to naturally restore collagen and keep skin looking refreshed. Her goal is not to erase age but to help patients embrace aging gracefully with subtle, authentic results.

Passionate about lifelong learning, Dr. Bhandari regularly attends national dermatology meetings and leads a monthly journal club to review the latest research from JAAD, JAMA Dermatology, and Dermatologic Surgery. This commitment ensures her patients receive the most up-to-date, evidence-based care.

She is married to an anesthesiologist, and together they have two beautiful boys who keep them busy and inspired. Outside of the office, Dr. Bhandari enjoys cooking plant-based meals, traveling, and exploring the science of wellness and longevity. I recently saw Dr. Noorily to get a mole on my face checked out. Like most people, I went in feeling a bit nervous about what it could be. From the moment I checked in to the time I left, the experience was smooth, respectful, and professional. I was called back almost immediately and found myself sitting with Dr. Noorily within 5 minutes. She did a thorough visual inspection and explained everything clearly - no confusing medical jargon, just straightforward, kind communication. She reassured me that the mole was totally harmless, which put me at ease right away. Because of my fair complexion, she suggested doing a full skin exam to establish a baseline and check for anything else that might be concerning. She walked me through each step and explained what she was looking at in a way that made sense. Thankfully, everything looked good. What really stood out was how she handled some minor things she noticed - skin tags on my back and some mild acne. She asked if they bothered me and, when I said no, she said there was no need to treat them unless they ever did. It was so refreshing to hear a doctor take that kind of honest, no-pressure approach. She gave me all the options - including doing nothing - and fully respected my decision. From start to finish, I was in and out in 45 minutes, with no waiting around. I left with a follow-up scheduled in a few months and a huge sense of relief. Dr. Noorily made me feel completely normal for coming in, was informative without being pushy, and truly treated me like a person - not a checklist. Highly recommend.

I came to Buchay Dermatology about 2yrs ago. I had terrible rosacea. Dr Bhandari completely helped me transform my skin. Dr. Buchay also helped my son when he was a few month old with terrible eczema. He will be 20yrs old in a few months and no signs of eczema after his treatment as a baby. Thank you to both drs. I highly recommend Buchay dermatology.

I LOVE this office!! Dr Bhandari and Susan and the entire team is amazing. I’ve been coming here for years! They are even out of my network but I don’t care, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I had skin cancer earlier this year and the entire team, especially Dr Bhandari was available to me every step of the way, was a constant support and offered guidance through every part of the process. So thankful for her!!

Dr. Rachna Bhandari is the best dermatologist and doctor I've ever had! I started off with Psoriasis which I've dealt with the patches, itching, redness, and flaking for years. Now it's in remission and I'm all cleared up with no on-going treatments to maintain my skin. She truly has the best medication recommendations and insights! She's a doctor who cares and keeps up with her patient's condition. I cannot recommend doctor Rachna Bhandari enough!
