Profile

Dr. Hilinski has dedicated his career to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck. After earning his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, he continued to the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Medical Center where he completed a general surgery internship and a head and neck surgery residency. This training led to Dr. Hilinski being selected by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for a prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Having such an extensive background in face and neck procedures, Dr. Hilinski has developed particular expertise in surgeries like rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, facelift, otoplasty, and more. In addition to performing a wide variety of procedures at his practice, Dr. Hilinski has published several articles and chapters in facial plastic surgery publications, and has been invited to lecture at surgical conferences around the country.

Dr. Hilinski is excited to introduce his Aesthetic Nurse Danielle Feigenbaum, who specializes in non-surgical treatments including CoolSculpting® and BOTOX® injections.

My 7 year old had a rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Hilinski about a month ago and we couldn’t be happier with the result. from first consultation to day of surgery and follow up appointments, Dr. Hilinski and staff have been wonderful to work with. The process was easy and the results are wonderful. My daughter had a very quick recovery with no bruising and the swelling, though naturally there, has been minimal and her nose already looks amazing. The doctor did exactly we set out to achieve and we are extreme happy with the overall experience. Thank you!

A few years ago I was the victim of an assault that resulted in 13 stitches in my mouth. The ER doctor did a great job but I was still left with a visible scar and scar tissue that needed correcting. Dr. Hikinski removed the scar from my mouth. I am very thankful to him because I no longer have problems with the scar tissue; not to mention the scar is barely noticeable now. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and I felt very lucky to have found him.

Dr. Hilinski is a very skilled surgeon and an exceptional doctor. He completed what I understood was a more complex primary rhinoplasty for me and my nose looks so beautiful - fully functional again, natural, and thoughtfully tailored to me. Dr. Hilinski is attuned to patient needs and hopes for outcomes and is patient, an excellent listener, and generous with his time and energy. If I were looking for multiple or additional procedures, Dr. Hilinski would be my top choice again without hesitation. I’m grateful to him and his wonderful team - the best!

I had Macrotia ear reduction surgery. Dr Hilinski exceeded all of my expectations. His clinic is top of the line and the surgery was a breeze. I was shocked on how easy it all went down. Zero pain during the surgery and the recovery is going great. I am so thankful to Dr Hilinski. He changed my life and ended a life long struggle that I have been enduring. I’m only sorry I didn’t do this 40 years ago. I highly recommend Dr Hilinski and his staff. The trip to San Diego is well worth the trip I don’t care where you travel from. I live in Denver and the decision I made was well worth it.

I am so happy I chose De Hilinski for my facelift at 70! I had appointments with 3 other surgeons before choosing Dr Hilinski. He was the only one that actually touched my face while talking with me about the procedure and what he would do. He is friendly, professional and kind. From the office staff to operating room, they are a team that cares about you and it shows. Medical prescreening was good and the anesthesiologist information was greatly appreciated. Being a retired nurse there are things I look for when I am seeking medical care and he met them all! He only does facial surgeries and is exceptional.
