My experience with Dr. Sayed has been phenomenal. He performed an En Bloc Capsulectomy with Mastopexy (explant with lift). I was extremely meticulous and thorough when researching and selecting a surgeon. He has several years of experience and he is highly credentialed. I verified his licensing as well as the licensing and accreditation of the surgery centers and anesthesiologists he works with and all are what you want when trusting a doctor for your care. His office is very clean and inviting. The surgery center was equally as pleasing. His entire care team have been amazing and have wonderful bedside manners. During my consultation, I had many questions and they answered each of them with kindness and ease. There were no sour attitudes or pressure tactics. They are supportive and are quickly responsive through recovery and aftercare, especially as you encounter concerns along the way. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Dr. Sayed himself hours after surgery, just to check on my well-being. Dr. Sayed truly is an excellent surgeon and I am grateful to have found him. He (and his team) have taken very good care of me during a challenging time. At every appointment, from the consultation to regular post-op visits, I have had the opportunity to meet with him as he does not pass his responsibility of care off to other staff, and he patiently explains the process of care and progress. I am extremely happy with my results. There is no doubt his warmth, expertise, and the pride and care he takes in his work plays a large role in the overall outcome. I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Sayed to anyone looking to get any cosmetic procedure done but especially if you are looking for implant removal due to BII. He is very knowledgeable about BII and acknowledged all of my concerns. He has amazing bedside manners. He takes his time to genuinely listens to all your concerns and answers all your questions honestly. I was really concerned about what my breasts would look like after the implants were removed but he did a beautiful job. He worked with me to make sure that I achieved the results I wanted with my tummy tuck. I didn't want a muscle plication with my tummy tuck and he honored my decision while giving me the information necessary to make the best choice for me. I healed really fast thanks to all of his holistic suggestions pre and post op. I really couldn't be happier with my experience and results. I am relieved to have found a doctor who will continue to help me age gracefully in a holisitc way.

I had my first set of implants 15 years ago and received my second set of implants 3 years ago after having a single mastectomy due to breast cancer. When I discovered the breast implant illness group and associated website so many of my mysterious symptoms/illnesses seemed to make sense. I also discovered (not having been told by my previous surgeons) that implants are not lifetime devices and need to be replaced every 10 -15 years. I decided that I did not want to keep going under anesthesia every 10 years or so and if removing them could add quality to my life (I'm only 46) having them removed was worth it. Finding a surgeon that had the experience, confidence and care needed for my situation was not easy. Dr. Sayed was the fourth surgeon I met with in the San Diego area and the only one who met all of my needs. He and his staff are kind, caring and skilled. Even knowing that I had already had several consults, he explained the full process to me as though it were my first, which really put me at ease with his level of knowledge and skill. I am 3 months post-op and I am very happy with my decision to have my surgery with Dr. Sayed. The procedure itself went smoothly and recovery has been fairly easy. Dr. Sayed is truly a skilled surgeon and I highly recommend him.

I first found Dr. Sayed through an online Breast Implant Illness network. He was one of just a few surgeons recommended for breast explant surgery, and I was so lucky that he had an office in my area (San Diego), as many plastic surgeons do not regularly perform explant surgeries. I had been suffering with horrible symptoms ranging from dizziness, rashes, severe breast pain and heart palpitations in the years after having breast implant surgery, and it was likely the implants were to blame. From the start, Dr. Sayed and his staff were incredibly responsive and accommodating. His coordinator Christine got back to me within one day of requesting a consultation and I was able to be seen the next week. Dr. Sayed was attentive, and validated many of my concerns with my implants. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a very detailed explanation of my options for explant, and the pros/cons of each option. He walked me through each step of the surgery in detail, as well as what to expect in the post operative period. Never at any time did I feel pressured to make a hasty decision and I felt that I was given ample time to ask as many questions as needed to. Ultimately, I chose to do the implant removal with a breast lift, as well as a fat transfer to the breast. The fat transfer was done by using fat from my lower abdomen. I was pleased that this was an option as I was initially concerned about losing all of the volume of the breast after explant. Now that I am fully healed, I can say that I am 100% happy with my results and I am so thankful to Dr. Sayed and his team. I no longer am suffering from anymore BII symptoms which is a huge relief and my breasts look great, if not better than they did with implants. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone else who is looking to get their implants removed! I also wanted to mention that Dr. Sayed and his team have great post-operative care and follow-ups. I felt that they went the extra mile after I developed some keloid scarring on part of one of my breasts, and was able to get a series of Kennalog steroid injections to flatten and smooth the scars. Dr. Sayed and his team were also very accommodating when it came to my very busy/hectic work schedule, which was much appreciated!

I went to Dr. Sayed for Enbloc breast implant removal, as he was highly recommended by the Breast Implant Illness Facebook group. I am thrilled with my results, and so grateful for him and his team. This is a much more complex surgery than implantation, and I wanted to go to a trusted surgeon. I’m so happy I did! I’m happily surprised by how aesthetically pleasing my results are given the surgery is not necessarily oriented towards that - I absolutely love the way I look now and I know it’ll only continue to get better! Plus one of my implants was stuck to my ribs, and he carefully removed it along with the whole capsule. I’m so grateful that my body can now truly heal. From the consultation, to the pre-op, to the surgery, and follow up appointments, I’ve never had such a thorough and caring surgery experience. Dr. Sayed is very skilled at what he does, and also thoughtful and caring towards his patients. He is very responsive in answering all questions before and after surgery, so I was never worried. I felt prepared for my surgery and there were no surprises. The surgery center, nurse, and anesthesiologist were also wonderful. I was quite anxious going into surgery (of course), and they really took care of me and put me at ease. Even the operating room and bed were so comfortable and calming (they have an awesome system to keep your legs and body warm during surgery) - something I’ve never experienced. Another wonderful touch - The anesthesiologist called me the night before to answer questions and calm me down, and was available afterwards for questions and concerns. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I highly recommend Dr. Sayed and staff!!
