Dear Dr. Scott Mosser, I don’t want to be writing this. I dislike saying bad things, but what I’m about to say is true. Regardless, I feel bad because you may be a good person and it’s unfortunate things happened the way they did or I could have been saying great things about you, but this is what happened. I was upsold on surgeries from Dr. Scott Mosser I didn’t plan on, and they were botched. Because of these botched surgeries I have suffered severe physical health ailments, and ensuing mental health crises I’m still trying to manage. Due to what Dr. Mosser did to me, he made it so the only way I could by physically healthy and also not appear freakish, was to pursue a high-risk, complex surgery. There was no way around it. That surgery was also botched partially because it was very difficult to do and few in the world could pull it off. I wish I never met Dr. Scott Mosser. I wish I never trusted him and his amiable smiling face. I wish I never got his surgery because I wouldn’t have lived in physical and mental misery all these years. It’s unfair that I was sold on abilities he could not deliver. It’s been some time, and maybe he’s gotten better at surgery, but this was my experience. My surgery with Dr. Scott Mosser has made my life terrible, and much shorter. This has been proven by several doctors since. I deserve a refund for what occurred, in the least. It’s unfair to have paid for the terrible results received by Dr. Mosser. He admitted in post op he messed up. Everyone can tell, and I’m reminded every hour of every day and night. I just want to put this out there and warn others to maybe consider other options. I am sorry it’s taken so long to speak out, but I’ve been in a prison of mental and physical pain, and I want to set my soul free, or at least let you know what’s happened to me. Because of my surgery with Dr. Mosser, my life is a daily horror, and I struggle terribly with simply existing and surviving. In the very least, I want him to always remember that I’ve not slept or been able to pursue my dreams because of him. I hope and pray he can feel some compassion for my situation.

I got top surgery (double incision w/ nipple grafts) in July with Dr. Jacobs and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From when I first reached out to schedule a consultation to now (about one month post-op) everyone I have spoken to at the GCC has been very helpful and kind!! Dr. Jacobs did an excellent job taking the time to understand what I wanted in my results and also explaining what was possible based on my anatomy, as well as taking the time to answer any questions I had. I would definitely recommend the GCC to anyone looking to get top surgery, and am very appreciative of the work they do!!

Breast augmentation with GCC has been my most rewarding gender-affirming surgery. From friendly schedulers to thoughtful pre-op calls with the doctor, to day-of care and post-op check ins with empathic nurses, the GCC team made me feel supported and feel the power of gender-affirming care. Unprompted, several staff on the GCC team and hospital nurses praised Dr. Mosser's ability to hear patients' needs and his attention to detail. Not only did their confidence in him bolster mine, but these reminders served as an emotional buoy when post-op depression set in a week later, and I faced doubts of having made the right choice in seeking surgery. Three months later, I couldn't be more proud about how my chest looks and having worked with Dr. Mosser and his team. Being cared for so near the Tenderloin also made me feel as if the care team and patients were part of something bigger, continuing the work of trans joy toward the dream of trans liberation.

At GCC the Doctor was great very willing to work with you. As for the ability to contact their offices, well they say they are going to contact you within 24 hours and am still waiting for a call. I got clearance for them to use my insurance, but I need a detailed bill for services. I cannot connect to them to ask this question. My surgery is done but I can’t get after services questions. I will come back to rate the office services when I actually talk to someone instead of a recording.

I’ve had nothing but a wonderful experience at the GCC. From my first communications to now, they’ve been extremely professional, caring, professional and experienced. I had a double mastectomy with a free nipple graft and it went extremely well. Dr Jacob’s preformed my surgery on the 8th of April and I’ve been healing so well. Wesley inkso PA was the biggest help and support in this whole process and I wish I could personally thank him for providing me with the highest level of quality care. Everyone was easy to talk to, understand and very aware of time. I truly had an unforgettable experience and couldn’t be more thankful!
