Brian Sandler, M.D. is Board-certified in Dermatology having studied at Michigan State University for Undergrad and Wayne State School of Medicine for his Medical Degree. He attended Wayne State University's Dept of Internal Medicine and Dermatology. After completing his Dermatology Residency, Dr Sandler served 4 years with the US Army Medical Corps, attaining the rank of Major. He currently is Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology and enjoys General, Surgical, and Cosmetic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Sandler performs Mohs Micrographic Surgery for skin cancers and is a Fellow, of the American Society for Mohs Surgery.

I absolutely love this office! All of the staff and Dr Kara are fantastic! They have helped me so much with my skin issues and I am beyond greatful for all the time and effort Dr Kara has put in for me to have beautiful skin again and a little confidence!

I Highly recommend Academic Dermatology. The staff is always welcoming and helpful! Kara and Dr Sandler both treated me!! I went through a moment of bad acne from stress and Dr Sandler got my skin looking better than ever!!!! Dr Kara is the absolute best and sweetest! I was diagnosed with stress alopecia and she jumped right in with a solution! I thought my life was over!! My hair is growing beautifully!! I can’t thank them enough!!! So professional and supportive!!! Thank you all so much academic dermatology!!
