Born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Dr. Coburn pursued his education at South Dakota State University and earned his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine in 2018. He furthered his training with a prestigious Integrated-Plastic Surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, which he completed in 2024.

Driven by a deep commitment to patient-centered care and fostering strong interpersonal relationships, Dr. Coburn is known for his genuine rapport with his patients. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Coburn values his time with his wife, Brittanie, and their dog, Barney. He finds joy in staying active, engaging in workouts, and exploring the trails on his bike.

Dr. Breit and his team were amazing! I am so happy I went with them for my breast reduction surgery. I loved that they were so knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Most importantly, they made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend!

Dr. Coburn is absolutely fantastic! I was nervous not seeing many reviews on him, as he has not been doing this a horribly long time, but I took a chance and underwent a tummy tuck, liposuction, and muscle repair on Wednesday and I couldn’t be happier that I went with my gut (no pun intended). He is incredibly warm, patient, reassuring, and has a newer doctor bedside manner with the skill set of someone far more advanced into their career. I was beyond scared of the surgery but he took his time to listen to my concerns, explain everything in detail, and reassure me I was in great hands. I am only 3 days post op but absolutely thrilled with my results and look forward to more of the results as I heal and the swelling goes down. If you are on the fence about a surgeon, go with Dr. Coburn, you will not be disappointed!

Dr. Coburn and Plastic Surgery Associates of Sioux Falls was incredible to work with. Dr. Coburn is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. I had a deadline I wanted my breast reduction done by and it was more than met. I have no complaints about my results from my surgery. Dr. Coburn helped me get the parts of my life I enjoyed again.

I love PSA! They are an amazing group of people, so kind and the environment is also beautiful! I love going for monthly Diamond Glows with Anna! I’ve been getting Diamond Glows from her for years and it’s such a treat every month! Not only is it amazing maintenance for my skin, the experience she gives you is the best part.
