Dr. Balvant Arora, MD, MBA is a Board-Certified Plastic, Reconstructive, and Cosmetic Surgeon. He is also a Hair Transplant Surgeon. He is passionate about comprehensive and holistic treatments that go above and beyond regular “one-size-fits-all” solutions. He is constantly expanding his plastic surgery repertoire by learning the latest cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Balvant Arora has been included in the Top Plastic Surgeons of Northern Virginia for many years in a row to date. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and an Associate Member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. He has received numerous prestigious awards throughout his medical career. Dr. Balvant Arora has also been invited to conferences and radio talk shows to share his knowledge about different topics of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Balvant Arora came to the United States in September 1992 as a certified Plastic Surgeon by the Medical Council of India. Once he was in the United States, he obtained ECFMG certification in 1994. Dr. Balvant Arora then did his general surgery residency from 1995 to 1998 at Stony Brook University Hospital, Long Island, New York, and plastic surgery residency at Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, Oregon from 1998 to 2000.

This was followed by one year of fellowship in cosmetic surgery from Lenox Hill Hospital, New York in 2001. Dr. Balvant Arora then joined Stony Brook University Hospital as an Assistant Professor in the division of Plastic Surgery, where he was actively involved in research and teaching.

In 2008, he relocated to Fredericksburg, Virginia, and worked at Mary Washington and Stafford Hospital as a staff Plastic Surgeon. Dr. Arora held the position of Chief of Surgery and President of Medical Staff at Stafford Hospital.

A life-long learner by nature, Dr. Balvant Arora completed an MBA in Healthcare Management in 2013 where his B School honored him with the “Outstanding Student Award” for his achievements and excellent performance. He is also Board-Certified by The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Balvant Arora has presented on various topics at Conferences and Seminars nationally and internationally. Dr. Arora has amassed a wealth of knowledge, as evidenced by his qualifications and more than 2 decades of vast experience in all aspects of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Cosmetic Surgery and also Hair Loss treatments. In addition to that, he also advises patients about the importance of nutrition, supplements, and exercise that go a long way in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Balvant Arora’s key focus lies in understanding the uniqueness of each case and then taking the necessary steps to provide a personalized plan to obtain the best results. He is also dedicated to providing the highest quality care for all of his patients and aims to achieve natural-looking results.

In addition to a busy surgical practice, Dr. Arora loves teaching and also volunteers free services during his trip to India every year for the last 20 years. He loves music, and dance and has a passion for the power of words.
