What I Do

Medicine is so much more than a simple diagnosis and treatment plan. Each patient is an individual with differing needs and wants. Getting to know my patients, what motivates them to seek treatment and their desired goals, allows me to provide better care.

Why I Love My Work

Medicine is an ever-evolving field. I enjoy learning about new techniques, medicines and treatments. I also enjoy the relationships that I develop with my patients. We often see patients at their most vulnerable. There is so much trust and intimacy in what we do.

Getting to Know Me

I am originally from Massachusetts, but I spent eight years working in orthopedics in Central Minnesota. My motivation to pursue a career in plastic surgery stems from my time in orthopedics. We often collaborated with the plastic surgery team on trauma cases, and I grew an appreciation for the specialty.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, running and spending time outdoors with my family.

Had Botox here with Katie Holst and got amazing results. I won’t be going anywhere else. I think it was $13/unit and I needed way less than I thought I would. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had Brachioplasty here years ago (and a couple other procedures). I have never been satisfied with the results. It didn’t help at all, I am not sure what went wrong but my arms never looked better after and I have never been able to confidently wear short sleeves. I am currently seeking to find a way to pay for this again somewhere else. I with I would be contacted for a free or greatly reduced service to have them redo this procedure. This affects my daily life and cost a lot of money and a lot of years to pay off.

About a year ago I had breast surgery at Midsota and have been very dissatisfied. I have thick painful scars under both breasts. I am still unable to wear a bra due to pain. When I woke up in recovery the surgeon had left the hospital. He did call and talk to my husband but was not available to answer my questions. At my follow up appt I saw a nurse and was told that surgeons do not do follow up on their surgeries; nurse do this. I ended up being allergic to the surgical tape. It was a Friday and I called the clinic and was told there were no doctors or nurses in that day. The receptionist gave me instructions to remove tape and surgical garment . Three days later I talked to a nurse and was offered a chance to talk to the surgeon but I had lost all trust with Midsota. Five months later the scar was still oozing. Dr Yang and his staff are amazing. He had to close up a large portion of my back after surgery and as far as scars and stitch work went, it came out great. Also whenever you have any concerns they got me in almost immediately. And the visits, even though i had a small issue with healing. The girls have a great sense of humor and i would leave laughing. Thank you to Dr Yang and his team for making my scary experience not so scary. Btw.. the other nurses and receptionists were great as well.

They fucked up my leg and didn't want to fix it. These people played with my body like a damn science experiment. Stay far away!

Had to wait although I had an appointment. No courtesy call. Waiting area cool, dry, uncomfortable af. At least have a sofa if you’re going to charge thousands for a procedure. That’s just my suggestion.
