Dr. Stan Castor, Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon, practices cosmetic Plastic Surgery at his office in Tampa, Florida (New Tampa Area). Dr. Castor is a native Floridian and is married with three children. He has an impressive list of academic and professional achievements.

Dr. Stan Castor grew up in Zephyrhills, Florida and graduated from Zephyrhills High school at the top of his class in 1982.  Dr. Castor spent some time working as an orderly and patient care assistant after high school and became interested in Medicine.  He worked his way through college playing church music jobs.  Dr. Castor attended Florida Southern College and graduated cum laude with a B.S. degree in Biology.  Dr. Castor then studied medicine at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed  a 5-year internship and residency in General Surgery at Emory University

Dr. Castor (of Tampa, Fl) is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This organization is the only plastic surgery board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Tampa Bay Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a repeat recipient of the Patients Choice Award in recognition of the difference he has made in the lives of his patients. Dr. Castor is also on the Patient’s Choice Most Compassionate Doctors List recognizing the top 3% of doctors for their bedside manner. He has also been named in the 2010-2019 Guide to America’s Top Surgeons by the Consumers Research Council. Dr. Castor has 20 years of plastic surgery experience operating on patients from all walks of life. He is sought after as a judge at numerous beauty pageants on the state of Florida level and routinely performs procedures on patients who compete on the national level in beauty pageants, fitness, figure and body-building competitions, along with several local Central Florida models, actors and actresses.
