My doctor would not address any issues I have. I ended up and continue to see Dr Rod for all my health needs. It’s hard to find a good doctor and she is the one! It’s not cheap and not easy to get an appointment. So if your not willing to invest in your health with time and money. She is not the doctor for you. This is for people that want to experience a healthy life style! Dr. Rod, thank you!

I was scheduled for a procedure at the end of last year, but apparently there was no availability until January 2025. I paid for and took the medication that was required for the test and when I arrived to the appointment today, I was denied care unless I paid a $250 membership fee. Additionally, after explaining this procedure with another physician, I was told that it was not even necessary which reveals this physician requests unnecessary testing, which drives up costs billed to insurance companies. It’s disheartening to see a medical practice prioritizing financial gain over patient care. This experience has left me questioning the integrity & ethics of Dr. Elena Hernandez. Another point is that I have NEVER seen the face of this doctor for the 2 years I have been coming to this office.

To be honest, I was disappointed. There is an administration fee of $250 dollars plus a visit fee of $250 dollars, which is all fine, if it productive. First you fill out info to make an appointment, they ask convenient times to be called, but all my call back times to make the appointment were outside of my preference times. There was phone tag for a couple weeks. Then I signed a form, at their request, in their office, to have my labs from my medical records sent to them and a month later, I am told they are not sure why they do not have the labs. I mean I recognize this is modern medicine, but I wanted to share my honest experience and for 500 dollars, I have made no progress. This may be industry standard, so just know that it may take a few hurdles, but it was a three star experience, thank you.

I've been a patient here for a year and I have to say, the level of care and attention I have received outweighs the $250 admin fee. I understand it's not something everyone can be down with, but after having a very base level of care with other gynos, it's something I will pay to continue being a patient here. I had to get an MRI done to take a look at my fibroids and everything else going on down there and at first, my insurance approved it, but I was out of state during the approval window my insurance company gave. So that approval expired. When I finally got back in town, we tried to get a new approval. Big surprise, my insurance company denied it. They denied it 2 more times, but Dr. Rodriguez's office was PERSISTENT and they kept on it and got it DONE!!!!! I am so thankful to them for their energy and keeping their "eyes on the prize"! I've NEVER had another doctor's office be this way. Sylvia Chen is the best...she does my annuals and goes through everything with me and explains everything and is more than happy to stay and answer questions...there is never a feeling of being rushed. The sonographer is also awesome...she put me at ease during my pelvic ultrasounds. I had a surgical consult with Dr. Rodriguez because my uterus is just riddled with fibroids and she was the absolute best. So kind and caring and presented me with the options available and helped me to understand each one so that I could decide what is best for me and my comfort level. She also cleared up A LOT of questions for me regarding specific procedures and I walked away with clarity AND peace of mind. Seriously...the bedside manner and positive attitudes of the doctors, nurses, medical assistants and admin staff is above and beyond of any practice I've ever experienced. So thankful they are here and I know they have my back...and nether regions. ;)

I think Dr. Rodriguez deserves more than 5 stars. She is a brilliant doctor and amazing surgeon who genuinely cares for all of her patients. I came here to highly recommend her. Her office staff is always super friendly. I am surprised by some of the low reviews for Dr. Rodriguez. In response to some of the other reviews, yes she has some cash procedures she offers in the office and I think a lot of her patients use them. She is never pushy in trying to get patients to do them.
