Dr. Jeffries holds board certification in Plastic Surgery from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an esteemed member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the largest organization representing plastic surgeons nationwide.

Additionally, he has achieved Fellowship status in The American College of Surgeons (FACS), an esteemed institution dedicated to enhancing surgical patient care and upholding ethical standards in surgical practice. Dr. Jeffries undergoes rigorous testing and reviews to attain and uphold his FACS designation.

Having completed his Plastic Surgery residency at Indiana University (IU) in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Jeffries possesses specialized training in microsurgery. He further enhanced his expertise by undergoing additional training in breast reconstruction from pioneers in Gent, Belgium, in June 2009, subsequently bringing these advanced techniques to Northern Michigan.

Dr. Jeffries earned his medical degree and completed his General Surgery residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, which included trauma surgery at The Detroit Receiving Hospital. His academic background also includes an undergraduate degree in Economics from The University of Virginia.

For the convenience of his patients, Dr. Jeffries maintains affiliations with Munson Medical Center, Copper Ridge Surgery Center, Charlevoix Area Hospital, and McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital.
