We first met with Dr. Liu in March, very kind and attentive. Dr. Liu stated all procedures most likely will be covered as there's evidence of damaged caused by the accident. The office staff was also pleasant. The procedure went well. However when it came for assistance with insurance company, everything changed. The insurance company was never billed for part of the procedure. This office refused to assist stating you signed a waiver so it’s all on you. Barely allowed me to speak, Jacquie from the claims dept was trying to talk over me so I wouldn’t get any word out. Very disappointed if you see this doctor make sure not to sign anything until you speak with insurance company. I appreciate the prompt response Jacqui. Of course the waiver was signed as a person in distress will do what's necessary to take care of loved ones. I am talking about been treated like a human being in a difficult situation, not like a business " you signed a waiver" so hands can be washed and easily dismissed the need. The lack of approval was only discussed a couple of weeks prior to the scheduled surgery. But this is futile, I just hope anyone using your office understand they must read very carefully knowing that after the payments are made little help will be received. I hope you never have to face a situation like this in your family.

Jackie at the front desk was very rude. I'm pretty sure her sligh comments were due to the color of my skin but I just wanted to inform everyone that She is RACIST and denied me service due to my skin color. From the moment I walked in the lady at the front ( Jackie) treated me with the most utmost disrespect. I hope that if you guys want good service this is not the place you go. Dr. Liu it's unfortunate that you have such staff working for you. I mean just look at all these RAVING 1 star reviews! And not that I need to add anything further I also work in the medical field. Healthcare should be an unbiased practice that is readily available to those who need it. As a man of color I'd hope that Dr. Liu has a conversation with his staff about cultural competence in the workplace.

RUDE RECEPCIONIST, UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Shame on this office and how sad that doctors even hire someone like her to be THEIR reputation as Doctors. I don't know her name but I am positive she is the same one who has been rude to the other patients of reviews I just read. Dr Liu would have great business if he hires professional staff, someone with manners and who do not bring their miserable personal life into the job and take it on patients!!! I like Dr Liu but sadly his front desk lady is sending his patients, his money out of the door. Bet there will be a negative and unprofessional response to my review but everyone will find out on their own. I will NEVER be back unless this miserable front desk lady is GONE. How rude and disrespectful to hung up on me, to refuse letting me speak to billing or someone else just because she wanted to. Who is she to do this to people? Sad.

Terrible bedside manner from Dr. Liu experienced first by my Husband then by my 77 year old Mother in Law. My Husband’s experience was 5 years ago. He went once was not helped with his issue, received sub par treatment and never returned. He did not initially make the connection when his Mom was referred by her PCP that he was taking her to the same Doctor. During the exam of his Mom it became abundantly clear why he did not return. Dr. Liu was abrupt and rude towards my Mother in Law and he yelled at her twice.

Worse service ever took. Took my daughter for her schedule appointment today and she never got seen. When I arrived the receptionist advised that I would have to pay towards the deductible which is fine. I proceeded to use the HRA ID along with the insurance to pay for the deductible. The Billing manager refused to accept it as she wanted me to pay right there on the spot. I inquired about what had changed as I had use the HRA ID card during the last visit and they accepted it. She kept saying office policy but when I asked if the office policy changed from the last time she accepted it she said No. Then she went on to be very professional, saying PERIOD! After something she said. She did not address anyone else there like that and I don’t appreciate her saying that because I am black. I am filing an official complaint because she was absolutely ridiculous and threatened to call the police because I was insisting on an answer about her not accepting my card when it was accepted for the previous visit. And of course the rude Manager respond to the comment and goes on to overexplain everything besides what the real issue was.The other horrible reviews on Google speak for themselves. Clearly you being rude is a pattern and the doctor needs to get a new office manager.
