A native of New England, Dr. Tilt graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in History of Science. She ventured south to the University of Virginia, where she earned her medical degree and graduated with honors as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then spent six years training in Washington, DC in the Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Program at Georgetown University Hospital, serving as Chief Resident during her final year.
