A perfectionist by nature, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Burnett has an innate appreciation of elegance and style. His mother was a seamstress who instilled in him the "soft touch" skills his patients know and love. His meticulous focus on detail shows in the quality of his work as well as the one-on-one attention he gives his patients.

Dr. Burnett specializes in rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), breast augmentation, and body contouring, as well as facial aesthetics and injectables. Although he has provided surgical solutions to cosmetic issues for thousands of patients, he is committed to conservative care. As a cosmetic surgeon, he believes that surgery may not be the best choice in every situation and often explores non-surgical options for achieving results.*

Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Burnett is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He completed medical school at NYU's School of Medicine before his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he was chief resident. He has also completed advanced fellowship training at the University of Southern California School of Medicine.

Dr. Burnett has been serving patients as a cosmetic surgeon in his Westfield plastic surgery practice for more than 20 years. In addition, he works with the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway, NJ, and the Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ.

Committed to continuously improving his standard of care as a cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Burnett keeps up to date with education and advanced training provided by organizations with which he is affiliated. These include the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Burnett and his wife, Patricia, live in Green Brook, NJ, and have two children. When he's not in the operating room or seeing patients, Dr. Burnett enjoys watching basketball, football, and scary movies, as well as indulging in his twin obsessions: technology and men's fashion. He is also passionate about getting a good night's sleep and spending time with family.
