His long list of credentials enables him to have a widely diversified practice, including a full range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. In addition to being a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, he is also a member of the prestigious American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has also served as both the Plastic Surgery Section Chief and President of Medical Staff at Medical Park Hospital. Of particular note, Dr. Howell is the first plastic surgeon in the area to have completed a formal cosmetic plastic surgery fellowship.

Next to his faith, Dr. Howell’s family is his top priority. He, Mrs. Howell, and their two wonderful children all share a love of music and the outdoors, regularly enjoying hiking, water sports, skiing and traveling together. Dr. Howell also has a particular passion for cycling, often, cycling as much as 100 miles per week.

Dr. Howell has had the honor to serve on several medical mission trips, including Zambia, Cameroon, and the Dominican Republic, which has helped shape the person and the physician he is today. “As a plastic surgeon it truly is a privilege to be able to touch people’s lives in the way that I am able to as a plastic surgeon,” says Dr. Howell. “I am repeatedly humbled as I am allowed to walk along with my patients on that particular shared segment of their journey through life.” He is proud of the combined resources of the staff at Salem Plastic Surgery and the team effort which is an integral part of making great patient experiences.

For the past few years I kept telling myself to just have the tummy tuck done. In the back of my mind, I was scared & nervous. Mainly regretting it and ending up botched. BUT let me tell you, after seeing the amazing transformation on a very good friend, I knew he was the surgeon that I wanted. So I scheduled a consultation with him. I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked into the office. The staff are so friendly and very welcoming. Dr.Tucker answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. After my consultation I scheduled my surgery. I had abdominoplasty and lipo 360. I am 4 months post op and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my results. He done so an amazing job and I can’t wait to schedule my other surgeries with him. If you are looking for a surgeon who’s top notch, Dr.Tucker is your guy!!

I had lipo of my upper inner thighs, outer thighs, and abdomen. My outer thighs look great. My inner thighs look awful. The problem is that I was not educated on the possible outcome. The inner thighs by themselves look good but to look at my whole leg, it looks awful. I have what looks like indentions in between the upper and lower inner thighs. Please make sure that you are aware of what could happen. I am now embarrassed by my legs and it seems the only solution is to spend more money and have another procedure. My abdomen is also very lumpy and does not look natural. In clothes, it looks better but, without, I look a bit deformed.

Dr. Howell is so amazing. He did great work, I had three separate procedures done by him. The front desk staff are wonderful. The anesthesiologists both times had me laughing and relaxed before the procedures. 10/10
