Frequently Asked Questions about Silhouette InstaLift®
Ask a question-
How does Silhouette InstaLift® work?
Using a double-action effect, the procedure effectively adds skin smoothing and toning as well as definition to the face. The insertion of the sutures immediately repositions the tissue and stimulates the regeneration of collagen that will continue for many months. Gentle pressure is applied to the treated area to reshape the contours of your face.
-
How long does silhouette lift last?
The results typically last for between 18 months and two years, depending on a number of factors. To get the best results from your threads, you can make lifestyle changes such as wearing sunscreen, avoiding smoking and excessive drinking and following a balanced, healthy diet.
-
Who is a good candidate for Silhouette InstaLift®?
The procedure, also called Silhouette Soft, is recommended for men and women who want to correct sagging skin and loss of volume but aren’t ready for surgery.
-
What are the threads made from?
Poly L-lactic acid (PLLA) is the primary material used in the threads. It has a well-established safety record with many biomedical and pharmaceutical applications because it offers excellent biocompatibility and is biodegradable.
-
What makes the Silhouette InstaLift® threads unique?
There are small cones on the sutures that provides traction and fixation points which then stimulates the production and build-up of collagen.
-
Is the procedure safe?
The procedure has been developed after six years of research. With more than 150,000 treatments carried out around the world, Silhouette InstaLift® has been proved to be a safe, effective treatment to reverse some of the signs of aging.

I’ve always enjoyed my visits with Dr Walker but had a visit with Amber Johnson today. Not only do we have the same name and are both from Louisiana, but she made me feel so comfortable and talked me through my exam. She is a great addition to the team! Please let her know she is valued and appreciated.

I tried to contact her on the website and by email but both failed so I unfortunately have to leave a review and hope she sees this attempt. Despite her poor communication lately, I rated her 3 stars because she was nice when I saw her last year.
I used ZocDoc last year to make an appointment with her but I don't think she accepts appointments there anymore. If that's the case, she should take her services off of ZocDoc. She declined my first appointment request with no follow-up message, then I rescheduled to today only to arrive to my appointment today and see her office is closed. I shouldn't have trusted that I had an appointment and called first. Truly, that is my mistake. It's clearly difficult to schedule with her so I'll find a new doctor.

Been here over an hour to be seen . My appointment was at 1pm got here about 15 mins late due to couldn’t find parking in this place. Called them to let them know I was coming in late. They’ve let all these other women go in before me . Asked front person why I’m not being called and was told oh it’s because you were late and they are getting ultrasounds 😩😡 wow they should have said something from the beginning. Last time I’ll be coming here. Always had a bad vibe about this office.
