Treats the condition Breast Implant Illness (BII) — a patient-reported collection of systemic symptoms (fatigue, joint pain, brain fog) attributed to breast implants. Treatment is explant surgery: removal of the breast implants, usually with total or en bloc capsulectomy (removal of the surrounding scar-tissue capsule). Many patients report symptom improvement after explantation.
